I Am Pakistan… Are you?

I Am Pakistan speaks towards the future millions of our citizens at home and abroad. With a reason to look forward, we have travelled across the country from Khyber to Karachi finding the true soul behind a Pakistani.

A lot has been said about Pakistan as a nation and as a people. However as Pakistanis, at home and abroad, we know that a lot of what is said is untrue and at the same time, a lot of what should be said is not said at all.

It is this very paradox that initially inspired us to begin this project.

Over the past 9 months, we interviewed Pakistanis across the country, with the simple question, “Are you Pakistan?” Some of the people have familiar names. Many did not. But regardless of their familiarity, every story resonated with us because they reminded us of what Pakistan could and should be - and frankly, currently is.

Our hope is that this video reintroduces Pakistan to the world. At the same time, we hope to remind everyone at home what Pakistan is truly capable of.

Keep in mind that unlike this video, Pakistan is not static. The facts and figures featured in the video are constantly changing. Similarly the number of stories worth telling is infinite. This is why I am Pakistan is only the beginning.
